Singapore Finance Software Startup Opportunity for JEE Developer

Hi I am Wan, a developer with Java EE software development experience of more than 10 years. Most of my commericial experience is related to equity. In late 2011, I have joined my second early stage finance software startup. Currently we are looking for experienced Java EE developer who is interested in finance. The startup is funded by Singapore government since 2010. We are developing a web-based portfolio risk analytics system for instituitional investors and private bankers. The system is implemented using Java EE, AJAX library and C/C++ quantitative finance libraries. Java EE Developer – Pension Company Offshore Team

A pension company is a private company similar to Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja. The company Kuala Lumpur offshore development team is seeking a qualified Java EE developer.

  1. Mininum 3-year solid hands-on experience in Java EE(not Java SE/J2SE or Java ME/J2ME). Total working experience should not exceed 8 years.
  2. Smart, corporate savvy, getting things done, not a jerk/theorist.
  3. Higly confident, e.g. not offended when a junior team member questions your decision.
  4. Open, e.g. able to communicate/articulate(not talk) your ideas to peers and managers.
  5. If you have more than one year experience in custom JQuery plugin development, the team will like to hear from you.
  6. Please substantiate your claims in your resume, e.g. describe an incident to show you are team player.
